Every year I travel to Italy to visit producers of real, Italian ingredients like extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO), aged balsamic vinegars, Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto, etc.
Most often these producers are small, family-run operations that are devoted to producing the best products possible, even if it means they have to sacrifice quantity for quality. The gourmet products available are some of my favorite ingredients that I am proud to share with you.
